Sophomore forward Cason Hohmann was named Hockey East Player of the Week for his role in BU’s comeback against RPI this weekend. Hohmann assisted on the game-tying goal, then netted a wrister from the right circle to win it for the Terriers in OT after a nice set-up by Pat MacGregor.
Hohmann leads the team in points and assists, with five goals and 13 assists, and only four PIM. Compare that to Alexx Privetera’s team-leading 51.
The honor is a timely present for the Plymouth, MI native; he will celebrate his 20th birthday on Thursday.
If these 90’s WWF references are falling on deaf ears, I am so very sorry. BU will take on Harvard on Wednesday, marking the first meeting of the O’Regan brothers: Danny (BU) and Thomas (Harvard). Their father, Tom, has pledged neutrality, despite his own career as a Terrier, coached by Jack Parker. While we won’t ask Papa O’Regan to chose between his sons, the least he can do is… ride the Hoh-Train.
